This talented musician joined us at Frankies Blue Room as the opening act. He even came on during our set to show off he best DMB impression. He plays on his own and with his group called Alex Hoffer and Friends. This was a great event, and was a great cause. Last we heard there was close to $100,000 raised that day. In recent news the doctors have declared her 100% cancer-free and on the way to getting her life back. The band has the skills and range to cover a ton of songs and they are led by Mrs. Robinson who is entertaining all by herself. They're busy all summer at Navy Pier and other venues. Check them out if you can. *************************************************************** www.milesformironda.org A great scholarship foundation started and maintained by former NCC students in memory of Mironda Heston - a classmate of ours who passed away tragically while unselfishly work with the less-fortunate in Haiti. We recently donated our efforts on Saturday 4/22 in support of Matt Moran's run from Mineral, IL (Mironda's hometown) to the NCC campus (104 miles). Reception was held at Quigley's in Naperville and it was a great time.
