We got back over to Jersey's and played the soundtrack for a really busy night. Ex-Bear Steve McMichael stopped in to check us out and the bartenders didn't stop moving the whole night. First-time bar in a long-time town. A monster-crowd and a couple of well-timed birthdays helped us break Mullen's into the TLU experience and there's no doubt we'll be heading back for more. New live music venue inside a great sports bar....very nice stage and sound - things got rowdy and we have scars to prove it. All shows are free and they have a permanent beer special w/ $2.50 Miller Lite/MGD all night. We should be back early next year for another round.

Thanks to our good buddies at NCC, we played a 45 minute acoustic set as part of the 'move-in' night for the college's freshman class. Followed up by coverband juggernaut Mike & Joe. This was a great window to get the impressionable freshman a local CD and hope it gets passed around the dorms. This ended up turning into quite a night...unfortunately the unbelievable rain and storms kept this show from being as big as it could have been. Traffic and power outages kept many TLU faithful at home for the night. We made the most of who was there and finished off the night w/ breakfast at the Golden Nugget. We're hoping we can get out there again with better luck as the stage and room are a great setup.

Back for a little 1st Friday action at our favorite party bar....BEACH PARTY was the theme, water balloons were launched into the ceiling fans, jager shots were done out of a water gun and many one-night stands began because of our music...but hey that's what we do at the LODGE. We joined forces w/ Windy City Records as part of their summer compliation album. They hosted a CD release show featuring us and 3 other bands: Moxxy, Fielder and Glasshouse. We now have 100 copies of the CD and will be selling and raffling them off at future shows. Big props to WC for working hard on behalf of indie music in Chicago.

Thanks to a good showing at Bourbon St. in April, we locked horns with this great southside bar for a summer show. -You read the date right - we were back at Frankie's for St. Patty's night and had a great time. Our buddies Ecelctic Theory opened the night and we played until they turned the lights on. One of the biggest drinking nights of the year + one of the best live music venues in the burbs + one of the best suburban downtowns for going out = a can't miss show. We'll hope to back there again in the fall for NCC's homecoming to do it again. Thanks to Rhonda, Frankie and the whole crew over there for a solid night.
